Select clients include Laura Mercier, Bare Minerals, Dr. Diamond's Metacine, and EltaMD.JOB SUMMARYThe Senior Social Media Designer will work closely with the Head of Social to ideate & create engaging, on-brand social content for a variety of clients, with a focus on Instagram and Tik Tok.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESWorking with Organic Social and Paid Social teams to create engaging image and video content, utilizing approved creative directionSupporting on creative concept developmentLeading graphic design, creating social-first graphic posts, copy overlays, and Instagram Story layouts with both video and image assetsEditing video and image assets to create final social-first postsSourcing inspiration and stock assets for clientsSupporting on creative direction, templates, and layouts of social media strategies and playbooksSupporting on creative direction, templates, and layouts of agency proposals and client decksStaying up-to-date on social media trends and maintaining a sharp awareness of current and emerging trends in the social media landscape for effective content creationOrganizing and keeping track of available client assetsAttending internal team calls and occasional client callsCommunicating with clients and internal cross-functional teams as neededSupporting the Creative and Social Media teams with day-to-day needsREQUIRED SKILLSKnowledge across all social media platforms, particularly Instagram and Tik TokExpertise in graphic design, both with video and image assetsExpertise in creating both organic and paid social assetsExpertise in image and video editingA passion for producing social-first contentExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced, rapidly moving environmentAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize and produce creative concepts that reflect each brand’s objectivesKnowledge in beauty, wellness, and lifestyle categoriesProficiency required in FigmaProficiency preferred in Adobe Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign,After Effects, and Premiere Pro - along with social editing tools like Canva and Cap CutWorking knowledge of Google SuiteExperience with project management tools such as Clickup a plusExperience with social media planning tools such as Dash Social a plusExperience with Slack a plusEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEExperience as a graphic designer for 4-7 yearsAgency experience required; beauty experience preferredDemonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio of creating and editing social-first contentUnderstanding of marketing, social media, and brand identity designSALARY + BENEFITS$100k-$125k/year based on experience; full-time roleMedical, vision, and dental insuranceRemote work environmentEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYEROGAKI is committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status.
