Senior Visual Designer

The Senior Visual Designer develops and executes creative concepts that align with creative strategy and help establish and communicate the visual expression of our clients’ brands. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the agency to translate client needs into visually engaging solutions that achieve business objectives while acting as a brand guardian. • Design Execution: Execute creative based on strategic direction and client business objectives for both consumer and franchise development marketing and branding initiatives, translating concepts into final design assets. • Mentorship: Mentor junior designers and provide direction to maintain consistent quality and brand standards. Qualifications • Ideally 5+ years professional visual design experience • Strategic thinker who balances creative vision with business objectives • Strong video creation and editing skills; experience in Premier Pro and After Effects • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) • Strong understanding of design principles and best practices across digital, UI/UX and print • Exceptional typography skills with meticulous attention to detail • Experience with design tools such as Figma and Sketch • Proven track record in creating successful visual design systems and brand guidelines • Outstanding portfolio demonstrating versatility in style and medium • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Self-motivated with strong initiative and the ability to work independently • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality • Strong interpersonal skills • Receptive to feedback with the ability to incorporate it effectively • Maintains calm under pressure while effectively managing multiple projects and tight deadlines • Experience with presentation tools (Canva, Powerpoint) • Commitment to developing a deep understand of the company’s brand, product and services, mission, value and key differentiators • Agency experience preferred; corporate experience considered • Follow established processes and procedures, including workflow between teams and external clients • Experience in CMS workflow environments • Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design or Communication Design
