DescriptionPosition Summary: Responsible for daily operations of the Vinyl Production Department, including printing, installation, and maintenance of graphics for events.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):Coordinate with Production Art Manager, Director of Manufacturing and Senior Operations Manager regularly to stay current on all projects current and upcoming within the SSE Pipeline.Prioritize and produce projects within deadline parameters with a focus on accuracy and quality.Conduct training of new production employees.Communicate project status with Department Staff at all times.Meet, strategize, and plan regularly with Production Art Manager to strategize In-House Production vs Outside Partnering.Oversight of ERP; forecasting upcoming production needs, deadlines, and bottlenecks. Advise on all new ideas and technologies evolving in this field.Meet all assigned goals and assist others in accomplishing their goals.Stay on the cutting edge of new processes, equipment, materials, and techniques whether through Webinars, Trade Shows, or any other informational media.Assist Shipping Manager when necessary, packaging shipments and transporting items to Hub.Responsible for labeling decals and labeling and inventorying boxes going to clients and teams in the field.Maintain weekly Pareto Charts, recording any and all issues encountered that create waste or down production.Maintain visual productivity/project boards for daily/weekly goals.Additional Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain a safe work environment and ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the physical location.Maintain a positive attitude and the ability to change directions multiple times throughout the workday.Assist with additional projects on an as-needed basis.Must maintain a validly issued and current driver’s license.Perform other related duties as required and assigned.Knowledge and Skills:Extensive aptitude of Summa, Epson Printers, and Laminator.Extensive aptitude of Adobe Illustrator and Printer RIP software.Possesses excellent communication skills, leadership, problem-solving, project and people management as well as analytical skills.Leads, coaches, and motivates project team members on a proactive basis.Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.Extensive knowledge and application of graphics functions and equipment.Ability to maintain favorable public relations.Education and Work Experience:College degree preferred.Prior work experience required.Reporting to this Position: No Direct ReportsPhysical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
