Sign Designer / Maker – Full-Time On-Site TM Signs & Graphics – Bakersfield, CA

TM Signs & Graphics is a locally owned, independent sign shop in Bakersfield looking for an experienced Sign Designer/Maker to join our small, tight-knit team.

We’re not looking for just another graphic designer — we want a true production professional who loves turning raw materials into high-quality signs that our customers are proud to display. This is a fast-paced, hands-on production role for someone who thrives under real responsibility and takes ownership of their work. A Typical Day You’ll be busy, productive, and contributing from start to finish:

Develop sign designs to meet client goals using Adobe Illustrator (and learn/use other software platforms as needed)

Produce signs using raw materials — vinyl, laminate, metal, and acrylic substrates

Print, laminate, cut vinyl on the plotter, mask/weed, and apply graphics

Perform quality control (check spelling, color, size, and proof match)

Install simple signs: door graphics, vehicle wraps, wall/fence mounts, etc.
