Sign Fabricator/Installer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general metal and wood fabrication and welding processes. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing fabrication techniques and tools in a dynamic environment. The Fabricator will be responsible for bringing sign, display cabinet, and tradeshow exhibits to life in high-quality fabricated projects, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.

Duties

Interpret graphic designs and drawings to produce accurate fabrications.Operate various fabrication equipment including radial arm, panel, table, and circular saws.Perform welding using MIG and TIG hardware and techniques.Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precise fabrication.Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal, expanded foam PVC, and wood components in multi-material construction.Read and interpret shop math and engineering schematics for accurate assembly and fabrication.Rigging, on-site installation, and handling materials and projects.Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring quality standards are met.Requirements

Proven experience in metal and wood fabrication, construction site work, or manufacturing environments.Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG & TIG.Familiarity with shop math, basic math skills, and mechanical fabrication principles.Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and forklifts safely.Strong mechanical knowledge related to wood and sheet metal fabrication, and assembly processes.Construction site experience is a plus; certification in welding is preferred but not required.This role offers an engaging opportunity for skilled fabricators eager to contribute their expertise within a professional manufacturing environment that values precision craftsmanship and safety compliance.
