What we are looking for most for this position is someone who is dependable, works well with people, has good attention to detail, and has the ability to learn new skills. There are many skills required to be a great all-around sign maker, but we can train anyone with a mechanical aptitude who is willing to learn. Basic Requirements Ability to stand for 90 minutes at a time Climb ladders The ability to lift 75lbs Dig post holes Do physical labor while in poor weather conditions i.e. hot/cold (Only occasionally most of our work is in the air-conditioned workspace but part of our workspace is not air- conditioned) The use of a computer, sending emails, invoicing, etc. The ability to properly read a tape measure/ruler Clearly communicate with customers in person, over the phone, and via email about their signage needs. Create quotes and invoices for customers Design signage using Adobe Illustrator, Flexisign Pro Operate Vinyl printers/cutters Assemble Signage Helpful experience Customer service of any kind Sales experience Previous sign industry experience Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop Flexisign Graphic Design experience Aluminum and steel welding Roller and spray painting Use of power tools, drills, hammer drills, circular saws, table saw, jigsaw, Sawzall, etc.
