Sign making/Graphic Design

• Accurately prepare substrates for large format printing or vinyl application. • Weed excess vinyl from computer cut images using various weeding techniques depending on size, type of vinyl and complexity of image. The Graphic Designer position creates art /graphics that can be provided to customer in form of a proof for approval and then output to production / sign makers. This involves various levels of creativity, including original design work, design modifications based on a customer drawing, the refinement of graphic files provided by the customer, and precise reproduction of a customer-provided design. An understanding of substrates (materials) and methods of printing will be trained.
