This position will be focused on design, pre-press and production. Design: \\- Customer proofs to assist the sales team - including photoshop renderings, sign mockups and concepts \\- Shop Drawings - detailed construction drawings for in-house production team. Pre-Press: \\- taking the design documents and creating production- ready files for our machines and crew \\- proofing, scaling and preparing files for print, vinyl cutting, CNC routing or other Production: \\- operating in-house signage production hardware, including HP Latex wide format printer, vinyl plotter, cold-press laminator \\- weeding vinyl, trimming graphics, labeling and preparing items for various production stages Necessary Design Capabilities: \\- Corel Draw \\- Adobe Illustrator \\- Adobe Photoshop \\- Preparing Shop Drawings submittals \\- Preparing production files Equipment Experience: \\- Large Format Printer (HP 700W latex) \\- Vinyl Plotters \\- Cold Press Laminator Areas of knowledge and experience: \\- acrylic, aluminum, pvc, wood, foam, various sign substrates \\- vinyl weeding, taping, application \\- painting (hand or spray) \\- general assembly, drilling, measuring, cutting \\- Rowmark / Braille layout and application \\- patterns, layout \\- LED's, electrical signs and components \\- Engraving \\- CNC routing \\- Matthews paint system \\- Aluminum welding and fabrication The qualified candidate should be extremely comfortable on a computer but also be able to use and handle a tape measure, paint brush or hammer, drill and tweezers. Pay will be hourly and based on experience level.
