Sign Shop Designer / Wide Format Printer

Creating and preparing customer artwork for production Using FlexiDesign as the primary design software Using Adobe Illustrator when needed Sending artwork proofs to customers Operating an HP Latex 365 printer Loading and unloading printer media and substrates Handling materials that may weigh up to 75 lbs Loading and unloading the laminator Operating a Graphtec plotter Weeding vinyl Applying vinyl to a variety of substrates Making banners Laminating printed graphics Assisting with general sign production when needed Answering phones when other team members are busy Helping walk-in customers as needed Experience with FlexiDesign, or similar sign design software Experience with Adobe Illustrator Knowledge of wide-format printing and vinyl production Ability to accurately measure, trim, weed, laminate, and apply vinyl Ability to lift, load, and unload materials up to 75 lbs Strong attention to detail Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to help with production tasks as needed Candidate must be able to safely lift and handle substrates and printer media up to 75 lbs. This is a hands-on position in a busy sign shop environment. The right candidate should be dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable moving between design work, equipment operation, customer communication, and production tasks.
