**Job Description:**
We're on the lookout for a talented and innovative **Production Designer** to join our team at Monarch Sign & Graphics. As a Production Designer, you'll be an essential part of our creative team, responsible for transforming client concepts into visually stunning signage, including indoor and outdoor signs, banners, vehicle wraps, and more.

**Responsibilities:**

* Collaborate closely with clients and our sales team to comprehend project objectives and design requirements.
* Conceptualize and produce captivating and purposeful sign designs that align with client preferences and branding guidelines.
* Utilize design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to create high-quality digital artwork and layouts.
* Ensure the accuracy and compliance of design files with production and manufacturing standards, preparing them for the production phase.
* Work closely with our production team, providing clear design instructions and guidance throughout the manufacturing process.
* Assist in selecting appropriate materials, colors, and finishes to achieve the desired aesthetics of the signage.
* **Operate production equipment, including:**
+ Wide Format Printers.
+ Laminators.
+ Vinyl Plotters.
+ Routers.
+ Lasers.
* Keep abreast of industry trends, design innovations, and emerging technologies to continually enhance your skills and contribute fresh ideas to our team.

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
* Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
* Strong grasp of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
* Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
* Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
* **Knowledge of vinyl production equipment, including:**
+ Wide Format Printers.
+ Laminators.
+ Vinyl Plotters.
+ Routers.
+ Lasers.
* Prior experience in the signage industry is required.
* A portfolio showcasing your design expertise and creative flair.
