Signage Graphic Designer /Production Specialist

Role Description This full-time, on-site Signage Graphic Designer / Production Specialist role is based at FASTSIGNS® of Draper/Riverton in Draper, UT. The role involves designing and producing a wide range of signage and visual graphics, including logos, branded materials, and large-format prints. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with customers and the sales team to interpret design needs, preparing print-ready files, operating production equipment (such as printers, cutters, and laminators), and ensuring quality standards are met. The specialist will also handle material setup, finishing, and occasional installation support, while maintaining an organized, safe production workspace and meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications

Strong graphic design skills, including experience with Graphics and Graphic Design tools and workflows.Proficiency in Logo Design and Branding to create and maintain consistent visual identities.Solid understanding of Typography and layout for clear, visually effective signage.Experience with industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or similar).Knowledge of print production processes, materials, and large-format printing equipment.Attention to detail, color accuracy, and quality control in both design and production.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interpret customer needs and feedback.Ability to stand, lift moderate weights, and work safely with production tools and equipment.Previous experience in signage, print shop, or related visual communications environment preferred.Relevant education or training in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field is beneficial.
