Signs Now in Gladstone is looking for a full-time, in-person Graphic Designer/Production to join our team. Installation experience is also an advantage. Compensation:$18 - $20 hourlyResponsibilities:Design orders for clients to meet their specific requirements and needs.Ability to communicate and work with customers.Inspects jobs for accuracy before sending them to production equipment.Work the production table producing the signs. Such as weeding, laminating, and applying graphics to substrate.Manage tight deadlines and rush orders.Prioritize jobs to balance multiple projects daily.Maintain the POS system by updating order statuses.Manage upkeep of printing and other equipment, including regular maintenance and cleaning.Maintains accurate electronic and paper record of file storage for all proofs/renderings.Follow safety protocols.Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:2+ years of on-the-job experience in graphic design is required.Ability to operate printers (we have HP Latex Printer), vinyl cutters, and laminator.Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop a must.Knowledge of Onyx Postershop or equivalent is a plus.Strong spelling, grammar, and math skills required.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.Strong PC skills and internet, Facebook, and sign production software skills.Have a “Can Do, Results Driven” Attitude – meaning you realize that our success isn’t in your design skills – but in getting the work out the door correctly and efficiently.Resourceful – meaning you look for ways to figure out problems.About CompanyAt Signs Now in Gladstone, Missouri, we distinguish ourselves as an industry leader who provides creative and effective custom sign and graphics solutions.
