Position OverviewWe’re looking for a Graphic Designer with a strong, original point of view to create compelling NCAA-inspired apparel graphics. This role requires equal parts creativity and ownership—someone who can develop standout designs while independently managing multiple projects and keeping workflows organized and on track.ResponsibilitiesDesign original, trend-forward graphics for NCAA apparel collectionsBring a unique creative POV that elevates our brand and differentiates our product in a competitive collegiate marketTranslate school traditions, fan culture, and storytelling into commercially viable designsOwn multiple projects simultaneously—from concept through production—without sacrificing quality or speedPrepare production-ready artwork for screen print, embroidery, and other apparel decoration methodsCollaborate with merchandising, marketing, and production teams to execute seasonal drops and campaignsMaintain accuracy and timeliness by consistently updating project statuses in Monday.comEnsure all designs meet licensing guidelines and brand standardsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred2–5+ years of graphic design experience, preferably in apparel or licensed productsStrong portfolio showcasing apparel graphics and a clear, differentiated design perspectiveProficiency in Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopDeep understanding of typography, layout, and color in an apparel contextAbility to self-manage workload, prioritize effectively, and hit deadlinesExperience working within project management tools (Monday.com preferred)Strong attention to detail, especially in file setup and production specsNice to HaveNCAA or licensed collegiate design experienceFamiliarity with screen printing techniques and limitationsExperience designing for fast-paced product drops or e-commerce environmentsUnderstanding of fan-driven markets and sports cultureWhy You’ll Love Working at SLAMAt SLAM, we believe in doing meaningful work with people who genuinely care.
