Social Media Coordinator

It operates three shelters in northern California. This position will be working out of the Grass Valley site. Job Title: Social Media Coordinator Assist with the management of social media for the organization including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Blog, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok Expand online presence Write articles/blogs related to Animal Place’s mission Create content related to Animal Place and its mission for social media channels Assist in the update and maintenance of Animal Place websites Coordinate the weekly e-news to Animal Place and Vegan Republic subscribers Communicate and engage with social media and website audience, responding to comments and messages in a timely and effective manner Stay informed on news and media related to social media and animal rights Assist in the integration of social and mobile media into organization’s platform and messaging Manage potential advertising in social media Track analytic data with certain social media platforms and track effectiveness Assist programs department with onsite/offsite events Assist with writing and the coordination of Animal Place’s printed magazine Perform any other duties assigned by the Program Director Guest House duties (to be shared amongst programs department) Process bookings and communicate with guests Take on 30 minute guided tour or 2 hour paid private tour (or coordinate with tour docent) Laundry and maintain cleanliness of house Qualifications How to apply: Send resume and cover letter to humanresources @ animalplace.org with Social Media Coordinator in title.
