Social Media Coordinator

The is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to shape the development and implementation of DGA’s online marketing strategy across all of the company’s digital platforms. As Social Media Coordinator, you will assist in the development of a new website, author original Social Media content, and suggest creative ways to engage our clients, promote our brand and attract new design talent. Responsibilities ● Help devise, establish and maintain a new company website working with DGA’s Principals and a website developer / design consultant ● Monitor and maintain DGA’s integrated website and social media strategy – review current online presence and develop a program for coordinated roll-out of content that is unique to but consistent across all platforms ● Work closely with DGA’s Principals to understand company’s work and activities, create engaging text, image and video content ● Design posts designed to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around DGA expertise, events and accomplishments ● Suggest new ways or formats to attract clients and industry professionals ● Be responsible for staying up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications ● Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way ● Oversee all aspects of the firm’s web and social media account layouts Requirements ● Proven work experience (2+ years) and examples of your work at an agency or as an in-house social media coordinator ● Familiarity with engaging with external agency or designers, as necessary, to create, develop content and launch a website and social media strategy ● Demonstrated consistency of voice, best practices and etiquette across multiple social media platforms ● Proven graphic design experience and ability to deliver creative and well- designed content ● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and web authoring tools ● Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and to act proactively ● Excellent communication with clear and consistent writing and editing skills ● Experience marketing professional services is preferred; experience within the Architecture or Design industries is preferred but not required ● BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Media or relevant field Application Requirements Email your resume with a cover letter and links to samples of your work.
