Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:Goodfellas Pizzeria is seeking a Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager who will be responsible for creating and designing all visual content for our brands, as well as collaborating with our locations across various markets.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.Visual Content Creation:Design engaging graphics for both digital and print materials, including social media posts, website visuals, and marketing collateral.Ensure designs follow brand guidelines and convey marketing objectives.Brand Management:Develop and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines, including logos, color palettes, and typography.Ensure visual consistency across all platforms and materials.Collaborative Design:Partner with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative design concepts for campaigns.Participate in project discussions to align design work with overall marketing strategies.Social Media Management:Create and implement a social media strategy that enhances brand awareness and engagement.Plan, schedule, and publish content across various social media platforms.Audience Engagement:Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with followers to cultivate a vibrant online community.Build relationships with influencers and brand advocates to boost visibility.Performance Analysis:Analyze social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and content.Prepare reports on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Content Creation:Craft compelling copy for social media, blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials.Adapt messaging to resonate with diverse audiences and platforms.Trend Awareness:Stay informed about industry trends, social media updates, and emerging content formats to keep our strategies innovative.Experiment with new content types, such as videos and stories, to engage our audience.Project Coordination:Oversee multiple design and social media projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with marketing goals.Collaborate with external vendors or freelancers when necessary.Budget Oversight:Assist in managing the budget for graphic design and social media initiatives, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related field.Experience: Proven experience in graphic design and social media management, preferably in a similar industry.Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and familiarity with social media platforms and their tools.Physical Demands and AbilitiesAbility to look at a computer screen for long periods of time.Ability to sit for long periods of time.Ability to discern colors and shapes in the creative design process.Manual dexterity that allows for the ability to type, and sort documents, file.Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking and writing so others will understand.Ability to identify and understand the speech of another person.Ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
