Social Media & Marketing Director

The Bedder Way Company and Meridian Closets are two sister companies that manufacture custom closets, cabinetry and murphy beds out of the same Indianapolis facility. Our customers are residential and commercial clients based in Indianapolis, and throughout the US and Canada. We are seeking an individual who loves to work with other young, talented team members to market, promote and sell high- quality products that will remain in our clients’ homes for years to come. The Ideal Candidate • Has excellent communication skills and is able to express our companies’ views creatively • Is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and has an eye for design • Is confident, warm, and friendly • Knows how to manage projects and can be organized • Has the ability to work both independently and in teams; and manage time well General Overview of Responsibilities • Responsible for managing our companies’ images in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals • Collaborate with management and ownership to ensure brand consistency • Design and implement social media and marketing strategies to align with business goals • Stay up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends • Responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers daily • Oversee social media accounts’ design (Facebook, Instagram, Houzz, YouTube, etc.) knowledge of Office 365 products a plus • This is a full time, Monday through Friday position We Offer: • Base salary of $45K/year with potential to earn quarterly bonuses • Compensation to offset the cost of personal health insurance • Work/life balance including paid time off and holidays
