Social Media Specialist Qualifications Experience of graphic/digital design/video editing experience, in house or at an agency Exceptionally skilled at image curation, visual storytelling, typography, layout, form and color Experience in mild editing for videos and reels In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Well-rounded design experience across all social media channels Ability to create gifs/reels and other lightweight video social content Highly creative, collaborative, positive, and proactive Keen sense for color, layout, form, imagery, typography, and composition Strong writing skills with impeccable grammar and spelling Ability and willingness to travel to events within the states Self starting - go getter Responsibilities Develop and implement highly strategic and comprehensive social media plans; ensure consumer acquisition and engagement to support the company's overall objectives Create innovative and strategic content across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube Measure, track, and report on how social media content is performing and advise team members on how to use the data Collaborate with key cross-functional departments to confirm social media campaign effectiveness; ensure that social media is incorporated into all of the company's campaign Monitor competitive social landscape, market changes, and developments; remain current on emerging industry and digital trends; provide highly strategic recommendations Work with develop and plan strategic and tactical digital launches; oversee the social media budget and provide updates to necessary partners Engage in daily conversations with followers and respond to questions efficiently and accurately; send escalated issues to consumer affairs and legal as necessary PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: lead, develop, and execute smart, unexpected creative solutions and storytelling in alignment with brand identity aesthetics to meet objectives and KPIs Partner with creative team to conceptualize and design content series to be deployed across all social media channels Collaborate with the Art Department and Communications team to brainstorm content strategy and plan editorial calendar for social media Real-time design and execution of social-first assets by channel including but not limited to video, short-form GIFs/boomerangs/time- lapse, static images, etc Provide design support for regional social media needs Prepare and manage retouching and other production needs on own project Create weekly content for posting purposes across media channels Participate in internal meetings as well as interact with external vendors where needed Work closely with, communicate and present creative with all key stakeholders and counterparts Deliver assets in the correct format and on time Experience Cover events and upcoming events
