Social Media Superstar

We need an experienced and enthusiastic Social Media wiz that can help build our social program from the ground up! You’ll help us define strategy, build out our presence in key channels, grow, engage and retain our followers, and help convert them into active fans and promoters of “I Used to be Somebody!” You should have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, love being creative and thinking outside the box, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience. Responsibilities: \- Build and manage the Pickleball Media and “I Used to be Somebody” social media profiles and presence, with an initial focus on Facebook and LinkedIn \- Create shareable content for specific networks to spread our brand and our content. \- Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success \- Work alongside the Pickleball Media team to help create and distribute content that educates and entertains our audience \- Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence. \- Active and well-rounded personal presence on social media, with a serious command of how to use Facebook to build consumer audience, including use of the Facebook advertising platform \- Knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search (Google AdWords), retargeting, and social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more) \- Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
