iCompute is a small, nimble team of software engineers and designers who love building high-end custom software for Ohio businesses. We are looking for a self-motivated developer to help us build database software and related tools from the ground up. The applicant must be intimately familiar with existing database technologies (i.e. relational databases like MySQL, document databases like MongoDB, etc.) Job Responsibilities include: \- Designing, developing, and testing database software, libraries, and tools; \- Building full-stack (mostly server-side) web applications with a cutting- edge technology stack; \- Working independently on projects and tasks; \- Researching and learning new technologies that can be used for our projects; \- Providing regular updates to project manager with regard to project progress and outstanding issues. This position offers flexible work hours and the ability to work remotely.
