Job Overview: We are looking for an exceptional Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to join our Sonoma's Best Hospitality Group Team. Our growing company has several hospitality brands under our umbrella and we are looking for an experienced marketing expert to assist with our marketing, branding and social media efforts. Day to Day your job would include: Have a clear understanding of SBHG’s brand, sub brands and mission Assist in leading the marketing efforts for our brands Work with our marketing agency to coordinate brand development, website development and updates Manage visual assets for all brands Monitor our social media platforms to ensure positive messaging Ensure that our marketing efforts and social media campaigns adhere to our brand guidelines Oversee the monthly retainer with our Marketing Agency Recommend advertising strategy and spend Work with the individual brands to ensure the brand is being marketed optimally Collaborate with the Director of Business Operations and the sales team to ensure they have collateral (digital or otherwise) in order to market our events & catering business Work with the Director of Business Operations and sales team on identifying best outlets for marketing sales and events Train select team members on social media protocol and how/when/what to post Be the internal contact for marketing needs within the company Be collaborative and enthusiastic in your communication with internal and external constituents Maintain a solution-oriented work attitude. When things do not go as planned, communicate early and often, and bring solutions to the table Preferred Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in the hospitality industry with mandatory marketing experience Familiarity with social media and how to optimize social media outlets Experience managing multiple projects Budget management Some graphic design, copywriting, and photography skills a plus Ability to communicate with agency relative to brand and creative direction Ability to clearly communicate in English with management and co-workers. Strong time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills 4 year college degree preferred
