The Specialist Graphic Design is responsible for assisting the Property Marketing Manager with creative development of designs, layouts, and other marketing materials for our overall brand and digital presentations across various platforms for Palms Casino Resort.The incumbent should possess a working knowledge of industry software including but not limited to InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications. Strong knowledge of photographic techniques, motion graphics and equipment, and knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws preferred. The position will assist in ensuring that the layout, positioning, navigation, and look and feel of content are consistent across and throughout the organization.Core Job Responsibilities:Update or design and output advertising and collateral materials as assigned to meetproduction deadlines.Create visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas thatinspire, inform, or captivate consumers.Adhere to established procedures and brand guidelines for creating, submitting and uploading design files.Collaborate with other areas of marketing, copy writing, digital and video, and production departments to outline unique concepts and develop creative presentations.Collaborate on photo shoots on and off property, support company events on and offsite.Maintain and adhere to file management protocols.Responsible for Tribal marketing materials, including but not limited to traditional print design, website, social media, mobile applications, email, online advertisements, and other platforms as needed.Meet company standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in area of specialty required.Minimum of three (3) years design experience in Marketing and Communications industry with two (2) years focus on graphic work.Minimum of one (1) year experience in entertainment graphic work.Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant and direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational/experience requirements indicated above.Compelling portfolio that demonstrates beautiful digital experiences and innovative design may be accepted in lieu of experience.Expert knowledge of Macintosh computers and industry software including but not limited to InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications.Motion graphics knowledge (After Effects and 3D programs) a plus.Strong knowledge of photographic techniques and equipment.Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting a plus.At least 21 years of age.Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification, specifically a Nevada Gaming licensePhysical Demands:Work is performed in various settings including closed office and casino floor.Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.May be exposed to smokeThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.Constant contact with executives, department management, employees, and guests.Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionallyEye/hand coordination.Use of standard office equipment.Basic math.Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbolsWe are committed to making a work environment where the growth and well-being of our team members is the top priority.
