Senior CAD Technician Summary Design Firm is looking for an Architecture Associate/Drafter with moderate experience in drafting basic sets of working drawings from hard lined design development to construction documents. Candidate should possess an extensive knowledge of residential construction and have a general understanding of Architectural Graphic Standards. Duties and Responsibilities \\- Full range of plans \\- Process Plan Change Requests and reproduce accurate deliverables per Client Request \\- Draft sets of working drawings \\- Draft supplemental drawings (such as: Riser Diagrams, HVAC schematics, drainage profiles, etc.) \\- Use latest version of ACAD and SDS Drafting Standard to maintain construction drawings \\- Draft redline markups within established timeframes Minimum Job Requirements \\- 2 + years of architectural drafting experience, with latest versions of ACAD \\- Revit knowledge is a plus! Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required \\- Ability to effectively communicate, oral and written communication skills \\- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures \\- Possess working knowledge of current local building codes and construction techniques (multi- state knowledge is a plus!)
