Min 2 years experience with fast builds, quick concept to build-drawings and fast production process for custom fabrication Min 2 years of experience in preparing files for machines & various vendors including CNC router, water jet, laser cutter, milling, metal bending/rolling/forming etc hardware knowledge RELATABLE EXPERIENCE HELPFUL Other 3D modeling software experience such as autocad or inventor Fabrication & prototyping experience Excellent computer skills, specifically file management and google docs/suite background in CAD design for graphics, environment, staging, scenic/theatre, experiential, TV/Entertainment, themepark/showset, engineering or other relatable fields very helpful CAM/CNC programming project management in construction mechanical and structural engineering/shop drawings Strong truss and stage design experience Experience with sourcing products, placing orders with vendors Creative and technical problem solving, ability to communicate design intent & construction methods Demonstrate a willingness to give and receive feedback, collaborate with others to share techniques, ideas, and contribute to a positive working environment Task driven, self-motivated, and proactive Excellent verbal and written communication skills with team members, clients, contractors, and vendors APPLICATION Please submit your portfolio samples that showcase your 3d modeling skills and shop-drawing skills along with your application LOCATION/HOURS This is a full-time hourly position at our fabrication shop in Chatsworth CA (no remote work).
