This position will be responsible for creating both digital and print-based graphics for The Thunderbirds, hosts of the PGA TOUR event, WM Phoenix Open, as well as Thunderbirds Charities. This is a hands-on role that serves as the go-to creative and graphic design resource within the organization.Our ideal candidate is technically sound, passionate, hard-working, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in the latest trends and practices in graphic design. They are action-oriented and view design challenges with a mindset of curiosity and enthusiasm.The Graphic Designer will support a broad range of initiatives and campaigns, including traditional, digital, social, and print media.Please submit a link to your creative portfolio and cover letter to this post.Duties & Responsibilities:Include, but are not limited to, the following:Conceptualize, design, and produce press-ready artwork and graphics across each branch of The Thunderbird organization, including:The Thunderbirds MembershipWM Phoenix OpenTicketing collateral, digital graphics, print advertising, etc.Manage the organization and distribution of all creative assets (through Dropbox, Vimeo, Brandfolder, etc).Identify social media/marketing opportunities utilizing video/still photography content.Work with membership and staff to ascertain needs and to develop graphic directions, concepts, scope, and specifications for assigned projects.Use and help maintain our various content management systems (Brandfolder, DropBox, Smugmug).Keyword, edit, and organize photo library (Lightroom, Smugmug experience a plus).Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications / Requirements:5+ years of design experience at a creative or media agency, or in-house with a brand or creative team.A portfolio demonstrating selected work showcasing strong design sense and conceptual abilities.
