This position reports to the Manager, Corporate Marketing.The typical base pay range for this position is USD $91,000 - $143,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, equity, and other benefits. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.Job DutiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to produce captivating content focused on developing and designing PowerPoint presentations and graphics, adhering to brand guidelines and client requirements that will be used to engage customers, partners, Board of Directors, investors, and other audience groups.Utilize graphic design principles to arrange text, images, charts, and other multimedia elements.Ensure brand consistency by creating, maintaining, and optimizing a library of presentation templates and slide masters for internal and external use.Collaborate with other content creators, marketing and sales teams, executives, and subject matter experts to gather information, understand project goals, and execute design plans incorporating feedback swiftly and accurately while maintaining design integrity.Provide input to guidelines for how logos and other branding materials should be displayed and used both internally and externally.Source and edit graphics, icons, and images to enhance visuals for a variety of use cases, including web, social media, collateral (brochures, whitepapers, sell sheets, guides), videos, presentations, press graphics, trade show graphics, etc.Maintain an organized repository of design assets for easy accessibility.Partner with other Graphic Designers on the Corporate Marketing team to ensure consistency, updates to styles, and brand compliance.Design and layout materials for internal communications, employee engagement, events, executive leadership sessions, workshops, and more.A strong creative flair and the ability to think outside the box.Solid understanding of layout, typography, and color theory.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proactive, self-starter, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Well organized with precision in design execution and adherence to brand guidelines.Positive attitude and work ethic; unafraid to ask questions and explore new ideas.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and engage them in productive brainstorming with a focus on delivering results.Able to demonstrate resourcefulness in finding solutions to complex design challenges.Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interpret feedback and articulate design decisions.Qualifications (Requirements)Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, Marketing or related field, or equivalent.5+ years of experience in graphic design.Strong experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and proven track record of designing engaging PowerPoints and graphics for external audiences.Experience working on collaborative projects with demonstrated openness to direction and feedback.Proven track record of following brand guidelines and checking for errors or inconsistencies.Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or other design tools preferred.A portfolio showcasing any academic, freelance, or personal design projects (PowerPoint or other graphic work) a plus.Belief in DiversitySynaptics is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to workforce diversity.
