Working within the Visual Experience Design team, and with a high level of typographic and general graphic design expertise, the Senior Production Designer is responsible for taking a visual direction already established within a project's Concept phase and bringing it to life within a Design Development phase, systematically, across print, media, and UI applications within physical... environments. During a project's Production phase, the Senior Production Designer applies their expertise and experience in print production specifically; and prepares all files with a deep understanding of processes, structure, and effective vendor dialogue. Print Production: • Prepare a range of files for print production, from wall labels to large-scale graphic murals; printed vinyl to physical graphics — elevations, typicals, guidelines, decks, and templates • Convey ways to refine design solutions and processes informed by your expertise in print production techniques and best practices • Generate a range of elevations, typicals, and templates while maintaining a highly organized file structure and working methodology Requirements: • Highly generative, detail-oriented, and iterative design methodology • Excellent typographic and overall graphic design skills • Expertise and experience in print production — file organization and preparation • Design portfolio that includes clear examples of cohesive design work that expands a visual identity across print, UI, and media applications with clear sets of guidelines across a range of physical environments • Ability to systematize and articulate cohesive graphic applications across motion, media, and UI designs • Experience in working closely with Project Managers and vendors to meet schedules and budgets • Excellent Photoshop skills: generate render-view comps in collaboration with Physical Design teammates.
