Studio Assistant for Luxury Gifting Business

We are currently searching for a highly organized, energetic, problem-solving and detail-oriented Studio Assistant to join our team immediately and work onsite in our Kensington, Maryland studio! The Studio Assistant position is designed to support the Studio Manager and the CEO with admin, sales/marketing, and customer service duties as well as involvement in the day-to-day operations of the business. This is an entry to mid-level position with potential for advancement. Responsibilities Include: Review and answer incoming emails, phone calls, and online chat Manage calendar and files Organize and help execute marketing campaigns and special projects Assist with occasional copy writing and graphic design for marketing campaigns Run sales reports and assist with providing analysis to management team Order office supplies and maintain proper supply levels Schedule and prepare for photoshoots Conduct research for upcoming gift designs, newsletters, and blog posts Assist with updating product information in e-commerce platform and inventory system Assist with client follow-up Order product samples in anticipation of upcoming new collections and gather all product details Request pricing, order minimums, lead times, and product availability from vendors for custom projects Track incoming inventory for custom projects and update in inventory system; Notify management of impactful delays Occasional gift assembly/delivery Occasional errands, both business-related and personal to CEO Occasional off-site networking events and relationship building activities Special projects as assigned Must Haves: Extraordinary organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Extraordinary ability to prioritize and multi-task without letting things drop Excellent problem- solving skills with a personality that welcomes challenges rather than avoiding them Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both internally with co- workers and externally with clients and vendors A can-do attitude and excellent work ethic Upbeat personality and willingness to independently as well as in a team Experience with Shopify, Google Suite, Zoom, Canva, and/or Mailchimp a PLUS!
