About the position As a Summer 2026 Product Design Systems Intern, you will support the evolution and consistency of our product design system with a focused emphasis on design system alignment. This internship is designed to give students hands-on experience working within a mature design system, collaborating closely with product designers and engineers to ensure scalable, consistent, and high-quality product experiences. Audit design system usage across products to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and improvement opportunitiesSupport improved alignment between Figma components and Storybook implementationsAssist with design system documentation, contribution models, and governance workflowsContribute to enhancements of reusable components and design patternsCollaborate closely with product designers, engineers, and design system partners to support scalable design solutionsRequirements Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree, with an expected graduation in December 2026 or May 2027, in one of the following fields:\nUser Experience Design (UX)\nInteraction Design (IxD)\nHuman-Computer Interaction (HCI)\nIndustrial / Product Design\nGraphic Design or Visual Communications3.0 and above cumulative GPAExperience working with design systems and component libraries (academic, personal, or internship experience)Strong pattern thinking and attention to detailSystems-oriented mindset with comfort working within established constraintsStrong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional environmentsNice-to-haves
