• Inspect jobs for accuracy prior to submitting for proofreading • Collaborate with proofreaders to resolve tactile graphic questions and maintain accurate documentation of decisions • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of braille skills and tactile graphics equipment • Maintain accurate project logs and provide regular status updates to program leads • Manage and complete multiple tasks accurately and on-schedule • Collaborate with embossing technician to ensure regular and effective maintenance and repair of tactile graphic equipment • Follow all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes Special Knowledge And Skills • Intermediate proficiency in the use of software packages related to office operations, including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat DC • Advanced proficiency in the use of graphic design software (e.g., CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator) • Working knowledge of UV printers • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with little to no supervision • Excellent organizational, interpersonal/teamwork, and communication (written and verbal) skills • Keen attention to detail in all aspects of job • Perform all tasks with a sense of urgency Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location.
