The Graphic Production Artist will work cross-functionally with the ASO Marketing Department and other internal divisions in a deadline-driven environment to create and manipulate graphics in support of the ASO's strategic goals. More specifically: • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator • Execute the creation, formatting, versioning, editing and final release of graphic materials • Provide photo retouching, color correction, clipping paths and additional image manipulation • Build/create assets to supplied specifications - ensuring consistency to project and brand guidelines • Collaborate with team members to ensure design concepts are executed as planned • Review and proof assets before the projects are marked as complete • Work with outside vendors and troubleshoot prepress issues • Create and access content in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) • Access images in file-sharing programs (MS SharePoint and Dropbox) • Follow a system of organization using workflow management software (Asana) to ensure timely delivery of assets Additional Attributes • Eye for detail and brand awareness • Knowledge of color theory/color models and font therapy • Team-oriented • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively • Thrives in a fast-pace environment • Computer savvy • Enjoys all genres of music 10-15 hours per week This is a great opportunity for the right person to be a part of the creative marketing of a major U.S. symphony orchestra.
