Typesetter ABOUT: Des Moines Stamp has been producing quality marking products since 1880. We specialize in rubber and pre-inked stamps for any application. We have branches in Iowa and Illinois and about 25 sales representatives outside Iowa. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service with quick and accurate delivery. Daily responsibilities include: Typesetting stamps using correct sizes and fonts Altering artwork and signatures to work with our manufacturing processes Accurately proofreading orders before manufacturing Typesetting embossing dies Typesetting foam inspection stamps Operating a laser engraver to make rubber stamps We are looking to expand the use of our laser to include more signage and promotional products Stamp pricing based on artwork size REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Familiarity with the following programs: Adobe InDesign, CorelDraw, Photo Shop Microsoft Word Accurate typist and proofreader Excellent spelling and proofreading skills Graphic Design experience for occasionally creating forms and promotional pieces
