We are looking for a **UI/UX Designer** in **McLean, VA.**
**Job Description:**
* Provide user interface/user experience (UI/UX) design, research, and development plans in support of the client's applications
* Leverage expertise in Ul/UX design principles, human-centered design, and user research to create intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) or technical area
* Minimum of five years of experience working with user research methodologies, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions and validate user experience
* Proficiency in UI/UX design tools, such as Sketch, In Vision, and Adobe Creative Suite, to create high-quality design solutions
* Five years of experience with wireframing and prototyping tools, such as Figma and Axure, to develop and test design concepts.
* Human-centered design principles and design thinking to create intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences
* Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals to effectively communicate design requirements to development teams
* **US citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required**
**Desired Experience:**
* Experience with mobile and web application design, including responsive design principles and mobile-specific design considerations
* Familiarity with existing design systems and brand guidelines to ensure alignment with customer's overall visual identity
* Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in UI/UX design, such as AR/VR and voice UI, to stay ahead of the curve and identify new opportunities
* Experience with usability testing and user feedback analysis to inform design decisions and iterate on design solutions
