Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCompany Background:Since our founding in 1883, UltraSource has served the processing and packaging equipment needs of thousands of companies worldwide in the meat and poultry, seafood, produce and dairy industries. and manufacturing (decals, control panel templates, etc. )Study design briefs and determine requirementsConceptualize visuals based on requirements; prepare rough drafts and present ideas to teamWork on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet the business goals of both the organization and its customersWork independently, as well as cooperatively with teams to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include multiple simultaneous projectsExamine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilitiesUpdate and maintain internal databases for designs, photography and videoOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience:College degree and at least 1-3 years of experience in graphic design requiredDegree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plusExperience with videography and photography is preferredIntermediate experience with Mac and Windows computer skillsIntermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative SuiteWorking knowledge of HTML and CMS platformsWorking knowledge of email platforms; Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not requiredExtensive knowledge of MS products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, TeamsProven graphic designing experienceStrong portfolio of illustrations or other graphicsExceptional creativity and innovating design skillsFamiliarity with design software and technologies (such as Adobe Creative Suite, Mac products, Illustrator, Photoshop)Keen eye for aesthetics and detailsOrganizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a dynamic environmentPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
