Join our passionate team and help create a more vibrant and engaged community in the three counties we serve.Position Overview The Graphic Designer & Multimedia Specialist will design and produce engaging visual content across digital, print, and video platforms. From campaign and fundraising event materials to social media and storytelling visuals, this role plays a vital part in how our mission is seen and felt. In addition to core design work, this individual will manage visual content across channels, support video storytelling, and ensure consistent branding across the organization.The ideal candidate is a highly creative, collaborative, and organized self-starter with strong design and video editing skills who thrives in a mission-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & BrandingDevelop and produce high-quality print and digital materials including brochures, flyers, signage, invitations, annual reports, infographics, and branded collateralSupport campaign and event collateral such as pledge cards, awards, PowerPoint decks, and donor recognition signageCreate materials for workplace giving, donor engagement, and community partner campaignsEnsure brand consistency across all internal and external materialsMultimedia & Video ProductionPlan, shoot, and edit short-form videos for storytelling, campaigns, social media, and eventsCreate animations and motion graphics using Adobe After EffectsProduce photography including staff headshots and event documentationManage the video and photography asset library and organize digital files for ease of useDigital & Social Media SupportDesign social media graphics, story templates, and reels to increase digital engagementPartner with the communications team to support branded content calendarsSupport content development for email marketing campaigns (headers, banners, image editing)Website & Email VisualsUpdate and maintain visuals on the organization’s website to reflect timely campaigns and key eventsEnsure consistency in design and user experience across online platformsCreative Project ManagementTrack timelines for multiple creative projects using project management toolsLiaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely, high-quality outputStay current on design trends and recommend creative solutions aligned with nonprofit goalsPrint & Vendor CoordinationPrepare print-ready files and coordinate with vendors to ensure quality and budget alignmentSource branded merchandise and event materials when neededQualifications & SkillsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Visual Communications, or related field preferred.Experience: 2+ years of experience in graphic design and video production, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.Technical Proficiency:Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects)Strong knowledge of layout design, branding, and visual storytellingExperience with photography, videography, lighting, and editingFamiliarity with Canva or Vista Create, content management systems, and email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact)Other Key Traits:Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsCreative, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-paced team environmentAbility to manage multiple deadlines and provide creative solutions under pressureCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $53,000–$58,000/year, depending on experience and qualificationsBenefits include:Medical, dental, and vision coverage403(b) retirement savings plan with employer matchGenerous PTO and holiday scheduleProfessional development and continuing education opportunitiesInclusion at UWCF At UWCF, we believe that diverse voices and experiences enrich our mission and culture.
