Works collaboratively within the department to ideate, create, and implement design projects that engage and inspire.Why join the UMCU Team?Work with a high energy and collaborative group of supportive professionals.We are committed to helping you own your career and grow professionally and personally.Comprehensive benefits including low cost/high coverage medical, dental, vision, leave of absence and more!Very generous paid time off and a very flexible work environment to help you find just the right work-life balance.Tuition reimbursement and a student loan debt repayment programOur Fidelity 401k program with employer match is one of the most generous you'll find.From our parental leave, to pet insurance and home office credits, our benefits package is one of the best you'll find!What you’ll be doing in this role:Develop and execute creative concepts for UMCU community partnerships, marketing campaigns, and brand materials.Assist in leading the design team in creating visually compelling graphics, presentations, web designs, and other digital assets that align with UMCU’s mission and goals.Collaborate with internal teams to produce 2D/3D motion graphics and animations for digital platforms.Oversee brand consistency in all visual materials, ensuring all creative work protects and enhances UMCU’s brand identity.Assist in the branch creative signage, etc.Attend community events and activities as a representative of the design team, capturing photos or video as needed for real-time content creation.Participate in brainstorming sessions, generating fresh ideas for creative direction across different demographics and channels including: radio, print, billboard, tv, digital, out of home, website and film.Develop and maintain a high-quality portfolio of branded materials for departments, partnerships and community engagement.Stay up-to-date with design trends, branding strategies, and industry best practices, and incorporate them into UMCU’s creative work.Brand, marketing, and community events and activations frequently occur outside standard business hours, requiring flexibility and in-person attendance as needed.Volunteers in various activities sponsored by UMCU within the University of Michigan and Ann Arbor communitiesMaintains knowledge of and follows all credit union policies and procedures regarding BSA, OFAC, U.S. Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering, S.A.F.E. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate.While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
