About This Position This is a Graphic Designer and Multimedia Specialist position in the School of Music and Dance. The key responsibilities of this position include: • Serving as the primary print and digital designer for all SOMD projects • Working closely with the Director of Strategic Communications & Marketing and SOMD Communications team to promote events and academic departments • Creating visually impactful imagery for promotional materials • Producing communications that create cohesive and consistent messages utilizing visual communication and visual identity principles Requirements The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: • 4 Years of Graphic Design experience or equivalent • Ability to utilize interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with a wide range of individuals and constituencies • Ability to remain organized with an attention to detail • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities • Commitment to excellence in creating materials for constituents Preferred Qualifications
