The incumbent in this role is a creative and detail-oriented professional responsible for supporting the graphic design needs of the University of South Florida's Judy Genshaft Honors College.As a member of the college's marketing and communications team, the Graphic Designer will collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to develop visually compelling and effective designs that enhance Judy Genshaft Honors College initiatives and promote its mission.Because of the collaborative nature of this role, this is a primarily in-person design position.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and a keen eye for aesthetics.1 year of experience in graphic design through internships, freelance work, or previous employment.Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication and collaboration skills, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.FLSB1310 Equivalency:4 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.6 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for master's degree.This position may be subject to a Level 1 or Level 2 criminal background check.Applicants for USF employment are entitled to request reasonable accommodation(s) in the application process.
