Urban / Architectural Design Internship

The position is ideally geared towards a recent graduate or advanced student of architecture/urban design/graphic design/marketing. The successful candidate will work with a small creative team on an urban design proposal for a mid-size American city. The task will include the following: Produce general administrative, design, and technical documents for a design proposal Preparation of proposals and presentations for projects Prepare design documents to include in the proposals presentations Preparation of document proposal submissions Outreach to consultants and incorporation of consultant content Ability to do research and case studies analysis Required Skills and capabilities: Excellent graphic, written, and spoken communication skills Strong experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Excel, World, and PowerPoint, is required. Ability to manage time to meet simultaneous deadlines and work with a small creative team Candidates should ideally bring a strong interest in architecture and design. Architectural design experience is beneficial, but interested candidates will work on big-scale concept proposals involving urban design.
