UX Designer | $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

We’re seeking a UX Designer with interaction design and user research experience, with an interest in the overlap between behavioral sciences and technology. **As a UX Designer, you will: ** * Use your interaction design skills to design research-informed graphical user interfaces for controlling and interacting with a robot. * Design and administer human-centered studies including questionnaires, surveys, interviews, and focus groups. If you're interested in applying for the role, you can check it out here: https://www.hireart.com/jobs/c69f5114/apply ### Requirements * Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in interaction design, graphic design, UX, human factors, human-computer interaction, cognitive science, psychology, or a similar field emphasizing design and/or human behavior * 1+ years experience designing graphical user interfaces using a software such as Adobe Illustrator and XD, or Sketch * Experience designing and proctoring usability studies, including A/B testing * Experience with online experimentation platforms, such as Qualtrics or Survey Monkey, and online collaboration tools, such as Mural or Miro * Experience coding qualitative data and generating themes and design recommendations * A strong interest in the overlap between behavioral sciences and robotic technology * Exceptional verbal and written communication * Excellent organizational skills, including note taking skills * Detail-oriented and able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-disciplinary and cross-site teams (occasional domestic travel required) * Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively * Eager to learn new technical, design, and/or research skills * Focused and self-motivated, especially in a remote work environment, and comfortable with high levels of interaction over video conferencing **Bonus qualifications: ** * Sketching and storyboarding skills * Experience generating study stimuli (e.g. descriptive scenarios, animation, and video) * Experience with survey design (e.g. survey logic, randomization, etc.) Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor visas or employ corp-to- corp._ If you're interested in applying for the role, you can check it out here: https://www.hireart.com/jobs/c69f5114/apply
