UX Designer / UX Researcher

We are looking for an UX Designer / UX Researcher to join our client's team in NYC with strong research, journey mapping and problem-solving skills. This global team supports complex, data-rich products and workflows across multiple business areas. This is not primarily a front-end development role.

**Responsibilities:**

* Conduct user research and identify user needs and pain points.
* Map end-to-end user journeys, workflows and user flows.
* Translate requirements into clear, intuitive user experiences.
* Create wireframes, concepts and prototypes.
* Test and refine solutions based on user feedback.
* Collaborate with business, technology and product stakeholders.
* Simplify complex workflows and data-heavy environments

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience in UX Design, UX Research, Product Design or Interaction Design.
* Strong understanding of user-centered design.
* Experience with research, journey mapping, prototyping and usability testing.
* Comfortable working with complex products, large amounts of data and broad ecosystems.
* Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

**Nice to Have:**

* Experience with complex enterprise applications or environments.
* Experience with data-intensive or internal applications.
* Exposure to React, Angular or functional prototyping.
* Exposure to AI-enabled products or UX workflows.
* Coding experience is a plus, but not required

**We are committed to fair, transparent pay, and we strive to provide competitive compensation in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.  The base pay rate for this position is $119,000 USD.****This pay rate represents mthree's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting and based on the locations listed in the job advertisement. It is anticipated that qualified candidates selected for a placement will receive this pay rate as a starting salary once onsite with the mthree client, however, the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.**
