Video and Motion Graphics Intern

Position Title: Intern

Reports to: Senior Director, Video and Motion Graphics

Position Summary: The Video and Motion Graphics intern will contribute to transforming raw video footage into high-quality video content used to inform, engage, and inspire their audience. They will work with audio and visual effects to create content and graphics for various projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

Assists in the editing of video content through Adobe Premiere alongside the Video and Motion Graphics team.
Converts completed videos into various file formats to deliver to clients.
Backs up video files to secured servers.
Occasional local travel to video shooting locations and to show sites for live events.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

High School or GED equivalent
Knowledge of various video formats, compressions standards, aspect ratios, interlacing issues, frame rate and rate conversion.
Experience with Adobe software including Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Creative Cloud.
Experience with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
Good organizational and communication skills with the ability to multi-task and attention to detail.

Preferred Minimum Qualifications:

Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or major in film and Video Production, or a related field.
Experience in video editing and motion graphics animation.

Ability to work in a physical environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
