‘Ōlelo Community Media (www.olelo.org) O’ahu’s premiere provider of PEG Access resources and services, exists “to strengthen our island voices and advance community engagement through innovative media.” ‘Ōlelo’s programs and services are designed to empower and equip individuals, non-profit and community organization to exercise free speech and engage in community media by sharing their unique stories through digital media. Likewise, Ōlelo provided government with digital medica training and a venue to enhance accessibility through coverage of hearings and meetings. ‘Ōlelo’s success in community engagement is rooted in its core values: Teamwork, Integrity, and Aloha. Video Editor is responsible for performing the post-production processes, workflows and editing of high-quality product deliverables for ‘Ōlelo facilitated or assigned video projects, under tight deadlines, to ensure timely cablecasting on ‘Ōlelo cannels and online. o Fine-tune content to ensure logical sequencing and smooth storytelling o Endure quality and progress of audio and video engineering and editing o Experiment with styles and techniques including graphic design, music, and sound effects o Review product with producer and incorporate feedback o Prepare product delivery, submits product for distribution on channels, social media, etc • Assess and monitor post-production workflows and recommend ways to improve processes.
