Youth Beat is a non-profit program (fiscally sponsored by the Oakland Public Education Fund) that offers free media production programs to Oakland youth and creates professional video content for our clients. We provide hands-on training and job experience for youth in video production and create jobs for young Oakland creatives. Applicants should be adept in Adobe Premiere, with 3+ years of work experience delivering content for clients on deadline. The core of the job is editing great video content for clients, working directly with Youth Beat’s Creative Director to help usher clients through every step of the post-production process. Primary Responsibilities Produce engaging content for clients as part of Youth Beat PRO, our professional creative studio that employs Oakland youth and young adults as crew and workforce Oversee post-production on assigned projects and complete video edits on deadline Meet with clients to review cuts, take feedback and provide strategic input on messaging, look and feel, etc.
