Video Editor specialized in promotional content for French-Canadian co

Qualifications: 5+ years of experience using video and audio editing software and programs such as DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Shotcut and Photoshop CS5 & CS6, Lightroom, After Effect Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation Creative experience in filmmaking and/or videography Must possess a strong understanding of the French Canadian corporate environment, culture and target market. Experience working on promotional content for French-Canadian companies Responsibilities: Meet with clients to establish the desired feel and look for the video to be created; Select and combine the most effective shots of each scene to form a logical and smoothly running story; Trim video segments to specified lengths and reassemble segments in sequences that present stories with maximum effect; Edit videotapes to insert music, dialogue, and sound effects to correct errors, using editing equipment; Review raw footage sequence by sequence to become familiar with it before assembling it into a final product; Determine the specific audio and visual effects and music necessary to complete videos; Import SRT files or manually create subtitles and closed captioning; Apply a constant amount of gain to bring peak amplitude to a specific target level; Perform cinematic VFX compositing, motion graphics and color corrections; Animate a title tracked through 3D space; Use the Lumetri Color Effect to correct color imbalances;
