The Video & Visual Content Designer will share our enthusiasm for music and creativity, and who’s ready to bring our artists’ stories to life both behind the screen and on site. This role hybrid / based in LA, and requires regular travel and on-site client shoots.
About the Role
As a Video & Visual Content Designer at Crowd Surf, you’ll play a key role in capturing and crafting compelling visual content that brings our artists’ stories to life. This role blends creative design, on-site production, and artist collaboration. You’ll lead and execute shoots for our clients creating impactful visuals that drive fan engagement across digital platforms.
You’ll work closely with our Owners, Creative Services and Marketing teams to ensure that all content, from short-form videos to graphics, reflects each artist’s unique brand and campaign goals. The role requires strong creative instincts, an ability to adapt quickly to changing environments, and a deep understanding of the intersection between music, visuals, and fan connection.
This position involves frequent on-site client shoots and regular travel within the Los Angeles area which may include time outside of regular working hours.

Responsibilities
Capture, edit, and deliver short-form video, photography, and other visual content on-site with artists and clients.Collaborate with artists, management, and internal teams to conceptualize and produce high-quality, on-brand visual assets.Create digital content including animated artwork, visualizers, tour materials, and more.Design graphics and create simple motion graphics or animations to support artist campaigns, social content, and marketing initiatives.Maintain organized asset folders, naming conventions, and delivery protocols.Ensure all visuals are optimized for digital and social platforms.Stay up to date with current visual trends, camera technology, and design tools.Communicate with the team regarding travel schedules, shoot logistics, and deadlines.Represent professionally on site, ensuring a smooth experience for clients and artists.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Hybrid Los Angeles based with regular travel and on-site client shoots. (Occasional Travel outside of the LA area) Must be flexible and available to travel frequently for shoots and events.Days off must be requested in accordance with current time off policies, and any days unavailable for on-site work must also be communicated to your teams 30 days prior. Proven experience in content creation, photography, and videography, preferably within the music or entertainment industry.Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and other editing software.Strong creative portfolio showcasing both static and motion work.Must have a passion for music, entertainment, and creative storytelling.Ability to work effectively in both remote and office settings (in-person workdays may be required depending on location), own a computer and phone, with reliable high-speed internet access.Availability for occasional weekend and evening work (events and activations don’t always occur during 9-to-5 business hours).Benefits

The pay scale depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, education, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
