Visual Communications Designer

Graphic DesignerThis role supports Cahaba Medical Care's internal and external communications through thoughtful, well-crafted visual design. You will work across print and digital projects that support marketing, fundraising, recruitment, and internal communications.This is an ideal role for a designer with early professional experience who wants to keep learning, stretch creatively, and work closely with a collaborative team in a mission-driven environment.You will contribute, learn, and be trusted with real work.What You'll Be Responsible ForDesigning print and digital materials, including flyers, social graphics, signage, presentations, reports, and branded templatesSupporting visual storytelling across marketing, fundraising, recruitment, and internal communicationsAssisting with photography and video capture for events, staff, clinics, and storytelling projectsHelping organize and maintain brand assets, templates, and visual standardsCollaborating with communications, development, and program teams to meet creative needsReceiving feedback well and iterating designs thoughtfully and efficientlySupporting special campaigns, events, and initiatives as neededRequired QualificationsOne to three years of graphic design experience, including professional, internship, or equivalent experienceStrong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and PhotoshopSolid mastery of layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchyAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detailWillingness to learn and grow across creative disciplines and software platformsAlignment with Cahaba Medical Care's mission and valuesAdditional QualificationsPhotography and photo editingVideo skills, including shooting and simple editingFamiliarity with Canva, social media formats, motion graphics, or short-form contentExperience working within established brand standardsComfort working in a collaborative, feedback-rich environmentWhat We're Really Looking ForA designer who cares about why the work mattersSomeone humble, teachable, and eager to improveA creative who balances excellence with efficiencyA teammate who understands that design is a form of serviceWhy Work at Cahaba Medical CareMeaningful work that serves real communitiesA supportive, mission-oriented team cultureOpportunities to grow creatively and professionallyWork that contributes to justice, dignity, and whole-person careHow to ApplyFill out the application.
