Visual Designer

This position is part of the Office of Communications and collaborates closely with the Division of External Relations and leaders across the organization. If you enjoy using design to make an impact, and want your work to support a mission-driven organization, the Visual Designer role offers an opportunity to blend creativity with purpose. Design print and digital materials including brochures, flyers, ads, invitations, signage, promotional items, and digital graphics.Produce visual assets that support marketing campaigns, donor engagement, and community outreach.Provide design support for internal departments to ensure materials clearly communicate program goals and messaging.Design internal communications materials such as business cards, stationery, and staff stewardship materials.Assist the Visual Production Manager with photography and video projects including event coverage, interviews, footage capture, and editing.Collaborate with communications staff to support website updates and digital storytelling initiatives.Manage design projects through Crossnore’s project management system to ensure deadlines are met.Support and maintain Crossnore’s visual brand identity and style guide.Assist in cataloging and organizing photo and video assets.Apply accessibility and inclusive design best practices to ensure materials reach diverse audiences.Maintain professional confidentiality regarding student, personnel, and organizational information.Stay informed about Crossnore programs and initiatives to support effective storytelling.Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of training and qualifications.Requirements
