Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile Designer to join an internal design consulting team supporting projects across the organization. Working under the direction of a Design Director, this role will support a wide range of design needs—from executive presentation decks and physical design artifacts to in-store services, immersive experiences, and product displays.

The work is highly project-based, fast-paced, and requires someone who can work across different types of design projects, move quickly, and bring structure and clarity to complex or ambiguous assignments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a wide range of visual and graphic design solutions for internal stakeholders and leadership.Create presentation decks, physical artifacts, signage, product displays, exhibits, and immersive experiences.Lead projects through the end-to-end design process, including:Research and trend analysisUser research and mood boardsDesign directionConcept development and sketchingRendering and technical specificationsMockups and prototypesDesign guidesIncorporating stakeholder feedback and refining conceptsDevelop visual communication materials that effectively communicate ideas, strategies, and concepts to a variety of audiences.Create brand-focused design solutions within established brand guidelines while also developing new visual and design languages when needed.Develop branding elements including logos, marks, packaging, signage, image layouts, and mood boards.Support exhibit, spatial, and immersive design projects.Collaborate with cross-functional partners and stakeholders throughout the design process.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing deadlines, priorities, and changing requirements.Work independently with limited direction while creating structure and clarity in ambiguous situations.Participate in physical design and installation activities, including preparing, mounting, cutting, and installing printed materials and design assets.Assist with moving and assembling product samples, props, fixtures, framing, and display materials.Support installation activities that may require working on ladders and handling materials weighing up to 50 lbs.Minimum Qualifications

Four-year degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.2–5 years of editorial and communication-focused graphic design experience.Strong understanding of the end-to-end design process, from research and concept development through execution and refinement.Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.Proficient to advanced knowledge of Generative AI and emerging design technologies.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, and Excel.Experience with digital whiteboarding tools such as Miro.Strong visual communication, presentation design, and storytelling skills.Ability to create infographics and presentation materials that effectively communicate complex ideas.Experience translating graphic design into physical spaces, exhibits, or immersive experiences.Experience creating brand-focused design solutions within established brand guidelines.Comfortable with hands-on physical design tasks, including printing, mounting, cutting, installation, and assembling displays.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.High level of initiative, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.Strong project management and collaboration skills.Experience engaging with clients and stakeholders, building partnerships, and working within cross-functional teams.Ability to create structure in ambiguous environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Comfortable working independently with minimal direction.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Preferred Qualifications

Video editing experience.Product design experience.Additional Requirements

Must be local to the Minneapolis area and able to work onsite at the Minneapolis headquarters at least four days per week, Monday–Thursday.Some projects may require additional onsite days depending on project needs.A portfolio or website showcasing design work is required.
