The job requires adherence to EDC policies & procedures.The Visual Designer will be part of a highly collaborative communications team and work closely with colleagues across the organization. This role reports to the Director of the Office of Communications.The Visual Designer will:Guide design from concept to execution across social, web, and digital campaigns, including interactive and motion-based workTranslate ideas, briefs, and early concepts into clear visual directions, often working from loosely defined starting pointsContribute daily to social media storytelling by developing concepts and producing high-quality visual assetsCollaborate on the development of thought leadership campaigns, bringing a strong point of view on how to communicate ideas visuallyDesign and prototype interactive experiences that make complex content engaging and accessibleBring an editorial mindset to visual storytelling, shaping how ideas are structured, sequenced, and delivered across channelsManage multiple projects simultaneously, navigating feedback and revisions with professionalism and clarityContribute to the evolution of EDC's brand and digital presence, including website and cross-channel experiencesBuild and maintain scalable design systems, templates, and components that support consistency and efficiencyPartner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure high-quality, on-brand executionQualificationsThis position requires educational achievement; excellent writing skills; demonstrable initiative, creativity, and flexibility; ability to work independently and effectively in groups; and strong interpersonal & organizational skills.
